The wall-mounted VERTIMO frequency inverter is available in four sizes covering a power range from 0.37 kW to 22 kW. It therefore provides the appropriate power for each of your areas of application – and always with sufficient overload capacity. The VERTIMO also includes the reliable performance technology of a KOSTAL drive controller. And all this with safe commissioning and intuitive control at the same time.

As part of the BASE class, the KOSTAL VERTIMO is also the ideal drive controller for your basic applications. Thanks to the basic fieldbus communication equipment with Modbus and CANopen, the VERTIMO performs its tasks reliably and at an attractive cost. And thanks to the intuitive controls, it can be operated quickly and safely by any member of staff.

Wall-mounted variable frequency drive: It delivers safe commissioning with energy-efficient speed control at the same time.
Intuitive interface: Experience simple and straightforward operation that saves time and gets you straight to your goal.
Single-phase or three-phase: Choose the model with the voltage to suit you: the 1-phase variable frequency drive with 230 V or the 3-phase variable frequency drive with 400 V.

The VERTIMO variable frequency drive's control process

Overload
sensorless
PID controller

Overload: Use 150 % overload for up to 60 seconds if required. Or even 175 % for 2.5 seconds. And meet longer performance peaks with ease too.
Speed control range of 1:20: Control your three-phase motors precisely and accurately – thanks to an optimised speed control range and very good control quality.

Motor control of synchronous and asynchronous motors: take responsibility for the speed control of all your asynchronous and synchronous motors – up to efficiency class IE4.
0.37 kW - 22 kW power: Choose the variable frequency drive with the right power for you from four sizes – and only pay for what you really need.

VERTIMO variable frequency drive communication

The KOSTAL VERTIMO variable frequency drive has a reduced but sufficient choice of interfaces and communication options for many applications. So you can integrate it into all of your processes at an attractive cost.

Interfaces of the VERTIMO variable frequency drive:

CANopen and Modbus RTU: Use the two standard interfaces of the smart power stack for rapid commissioning.
Bluetooth (optional): If you wish, you can control the VERTIMO frequency inverter via Bluetooth – conveniently from several metres away. For even more safety.

Operating and observing the VERTIMO variable frequency drive

The wall-mounted KOSTAL VERTIMO drive controller features a clear and intuitive panel of buttons with LED display. This allows you to quickly and easily set the parameters of your speed control. In addition, you can adapt the VERTIMO to your individual needs with potentiometers and switches for direction of rotation and disconnecting from the mains. Control via KOSTAL INVERTER pc software is also possible.
